Ash Wednesday Mass and Liturgy

St Patrick’s Primary School marked the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday Mass. Years 3 to 6, their teachers and parents joined the parish community at St Patrick’s Blacktown. 


Later on in the afternoon, K-2 attended a liturgy where the children received the ashes on their foreheads and were encouraged to make promises, which they would follow during the lent season such as caring for others.
