On Tuesday, 11th of August, 2015, St Patrick’s Primary Media Team consisting of Martha Buitizon, Ashleigh Hooper, Kelicia Ilencik and Tanisha Prasad, were lucky to join the Sacred Heart Primary School, Mt Druitt Media Team in our Multi Purpose Area. They met with Managing Editor and Writer, Samantha Rich from Write 2 Be Read, to teach them all about media.
Both schools learnt the arts of photography and writing together and even had the chance to work in teams to write their own article. They learnt that there was more to photography and writing than fancy models and descriptive writing, but time, work, and effort.

We would like to thank the Catholic Education Office for organising the Media Training Day, as it was helpful to not only the students, but the teachers too. It has inspired us, and as a team we have come up with this motto, “It’s not all fun and games, it takes time, work, and effort.”
