On Friday 1st December, our St Patrick’s Mini Vinnies group went to a local nursing home called St Dominic’s Hostel in Blacktown to entertain the elderly as well as interact with the residents.
We asked them questions about where they had come from, how many children they had and if they liked our performance or not.
We showed off our acting, dancing and singing talents to the residents and they enjoyed it very much.
I personally believe that we went there to wish them a merry Christmas (even though it was a bit early for a merry Christmas).
I enjoyed myself!

🍀🍀Congratulations to Year 6 student Jeremiah, our superstar Mathematician 🎉🎉🎉As an accelerated Maths student, he has been completing Year 11 Advanced Maths this year. Guided by our brilliant St. Pat’s teachers and supported by St. Andrew’s staff and Maths TE Michael Dennis, 11 year old Jeremiah placed 3rd in the ADVANCED YEAR 11 Maths course. 🎉🎉🎉🎉His God given talent has been beautifully nourished through Catholic Education 🙏🙏We are very grateful for the work of Mr Kennaugh, Mr Finnerty and Mr Dennis. Jeremiah’s peers, parents, amazing teacher (Mr Johnson) and Principal Mrs Fitzalan, are SO PROUD of his hard work and achievement. On Friday Kindergarten had their Teddy Bears Picnic. We went on a bear hunt, made some delicious fairy bread and had a picnic with our families. We had so much fun celebrating all of our hard work this year.
